Lone Pine Canoe Company is located Bracebridge, Ontario, in the heart of Muskoka and specializes in repairs and restorations to cedar-canvas canoes using traditional methods and materials. Repair and restoration work has been done on many popular canoe models such as Chestnut, Langford, Morris, Old Town, Peterborough, Tremblay and others. Work has also be done on cedarstrip glass canoes, kayaks, and other small wood watercraft.

Who We Are
Paul’s love of all things canoe goes back to when he was a member of the Elliot Lake High School Canoe Club. He built his first cedar strip canoe in his parent's backyard as teenager and he’s still paddling it over 30 years later. In the years since then, he has refined his craftsmanship skills in both cedar strip and cedar canvas canoe construction.

What We Do
In addition repairing and restoring cedar-canvas and cedar-strip canoes, Lone Pine Canoe looks after a wide range of smaller projects such as gunwale or deck replacements and hand-woven cane seat repairs. Repair work is also offered for rowing skiffs, cedar kayaks and other small wood watercraft.

What We Offer
We have a modest inventory of new and vintage canoe models ready for delivery. Custom orders can be placed for cedar canvas and cedar strip canoes. Our Products page shows a sample of some of the special request items we have made. In addition, we are an authorized retailer for Hutchings Marine Products Ltd.
