16' Chestnut Ogilvy cedar-canvas canoe - $4000
The Chestnut Ogilvy is a model that was designed for the fishing guides in New Brunswick who needed a canoe that was responsive to paddle and at the same time stable enough to be paddled while standing up as they took their clients salmon fishing on the rivers. This 16' Chestnut Ogilvy was fully restored in the shop here in 2016. It was paddled twice by it's owner and has been in dry storage since 2017. It is in excellent condition aside from a few small scuff marks on the paint on one side. It is finished in a Tom Thompson-inspired Seattle Gray color, with brass stem bands and deck ring.

SOLD - The BL - 16' 6" Prospector-style
This unique Prospector-styled model is a new canoe with a vintage feel. It is a deep canoe that provides ample room for gear or for the family, but with significantly less rocker than a traditional Prospector which gives it added stability. The body of the canoe was completed in 1986 and stored until finishing work was started in 2019, creating a cedar interior with the rich patina that only comes with time. The beauty of the wood tone is enhanced by a matte finish UV varnish. The cherry decks, thwarts, carrying yoke, and hand-woven cane seats are beautifully framed by the aged ash gunnels. Brass stem bands and an elegant Seattle Grey marine paint reminiscent of Tom Thompson's famous iconic canoe provide the finishing touches on this one of a kind model.
